Pacific Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Nankoku, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. Designed by Shuichi Murayama and opened on November 3, 1974, the layout measures 6,790 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 72.7 and a slope of 131. The course features Korean bentgrass greens and offers six sets of tees, ranging from the gold tees at 5,285 yards to the ladies' tees at 5,080 yards. The facility accommodates both self-play and caddie-assisted rounds, utilizing electric navigation carts equipped with electromagnetic induction guidance. The course is structured to challenge golfers of varying skill levels, with specific holes designated for driving distance and precision. The sixth hole, a par-4 measuring 383 yards from the back tees, is identified as the recommended hole for long hitters on the front nine. Similarly, the twelfth hole, a 374-yard par-4, serves as the back nine's distance test. Conversely, the second hole, a 176-yard par-3, and the thirteenth hole, a 192-yard par-3, are highlighted as the preferred holes for near-pin accuracy. The front nine totals 3,254 yards, while the back nine extends to 3,536 yards, creating a demanding finish that includes the 602-yard tenth hole, the longest on the course. Pacific Golf Club maintains a competitive calendar, hosting regular monthly tournaments and junior development programs. Recent activity includes the Shusho Cup Match Play and various monthly cup events, with results publicly recorded on the club's performance board.
