The 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course at Owl's Head is situated at the base of the mountain in Mansonville, Quebec, overlooking the Green Mountains. Designed by internationally renowned architect Graham Cooke, the layout spans 6,671 yards and features bentgrass fairways and greens. The course is characterized by carefully placed white silica bunkers and water hazards that come into play on six of the eighteen holes. The setting provides panoramic views of the surrounding Eastern Townships landscape, with the course positioned beneath a fieldstone chalet that serves as the clubhouse. The terrain integrates the natural topography of the mountain's base, offering golfers a scenic experience that combines the challenge of the design with the visual backdrop of the region. Graham Cooke’s design emphasizes strategic play through the placement of hazards and the conditioning of the turf. The inclusion of water on multiple fairways adds a layer of difficulty that caters to a range of skill levels, from novices to seasoned enthusiasts, while the bentgrass surfaces ensure consistent playing conditions throughout the season.
