The Oriental University City Golf Course is located in the Langfang Development Zone, situated within the Oriental University City educational park in Hebei province, China. The facility is positioned near the Jingjin Tang Expressway, approximately 40 kilometers from the Guomao Center in Beijing and roughly 20 kilometers from the Chaoyang Central Business District. The course occupies a total area of 6,640 mu, with a planned capacity of 108 holes distributed across six distinct zones labeled A through F. Currently, 90 holes are operational and open to the public, while the remaining 18 holes are part of the long-term development plan.

The initial phase of the course consists of an 18-hole championship layout designed to overcome the natural limitations of the flat plain terrain. To create significant elevation changes, extensive earthmoving was undertaken to construct rolling hills and mounds rising nearly 10 meters high, alongside the creation of a 100,000-square-meter artificial lake. The total length of the course is approximately 7,300 yards, with a vertical distance of over 120 yards between the men's and women's tees. The design features wide fairways, dense woodlands, and varying visibility conditions that require strategic shot placement.

A distinctive feature of the course is the separation of play into day and night operations. The front nine holes, located in Zone A, are equipped with lighting systems that allow for play after dark, while the back nine holes in Zone B are played during daylight hours. This configuration enables golfers to continue their rounds in the evening, providing a unique experience that combines the natural landscape with artificial illumination. The course layout includes non-visual fairways and undulating terrain that challenge players to navigate through slopes and water hazards.

The facility offers a range of amenities including a hotel, a multi-function clubhouse, a restaurant, a practice range, and a golf shop. The surrounding area includes nearby attractions such as the Shidu Scenic Area, Yanshan Mountain, and Yunju Temple.
