Olde Eight Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course redesigned by architect Drew Rogers, located in Greenwood, South Carolina near Lake Greenwood. The course stretches approximately 6,740 yards and features routing through wooded and lakeside areas across the property. The design incorporates the original Tom Jackson routing while delivering a completely redesigned golfing experience. The facility opened in November 2025 following a comprehensive $400 million renovation.
Beyond the main championship course, Olde Eight offers a lighted 9-hole short course, a Piedmont Putting Course, and the Repair Shop—a dynamic practice facility featuring climate-controlled hitting bays and an indoor putting studio. The instruction academy is led by Shane LeBaron, a recognized golf instruction professional. The course is part of a larger residential and lifestyle community that includes dining facilities, a lake club with private marina access, and accommodations for members.
The course presents play through carefully designed natural settings with signature wooded and waterfront holes. Additional amenities include a General Store, four dining experiences on the property, and a comprehensive golf instruction program. The facility serves as both a private members' club and offers public access opportunities.
