Old York Road Country Club is an 18-hole course featuring 6,558 yards of golf for a par of 71, located in Spring House, Montgomery County, PA. The course was designed by William F. Gordon, ASGCA, and opened in 1910, though the current location was established in 1963 when the 126 acre Bennerbrook Farm was purchased and converted into the golf course.
The Par 71 course features tree-lined fairways, newly renovated bunkers, and fast, undulating greens, challenging players of all skill levels. The course is known for being forgiving off the tee, with the true test lying in precise approach shots and mastering the speed of the greens. With a course rating of 71.8 and a slope rating of 127, it presents a moderately challenging layout.
Throughout the years with many renovations and upgrades, the course has become one of the most desirable private clubs to play in the Philadelphia region and hosts numerous PGA and Golf Association of Philadelphia outings each year. Members enjoy readily available tee times and rounds averaging around 4 hours, along with special golf events throughout the season including Friday Night Mixed Twilight, Men's and Women's Club Championships, Member Guest Events, and other tournaments.
