Established in 1914, Ogden Golf and Country Club is the oldest continuously operated country club in the state of Utah. The club is nestled between the majestic mountain peaks of Mt. Ogden and Ben Lomond in the greater Ogden area. The 9-hole course features 6,706 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73. The original 9 holes were designed and built in 1914 by local golf enthusiasts, while Ernie Schneiter Sr., the golf professional for 19 years, designed the current front nine holes which were added to the course in 1948.
The course rating is 71.2 and it has a slope rating of 123 on Blue grass. The course straddles Washington Boulevard, tunnel access is provided. The golf course has hosted many prestigious professional and amateur events, including the PGA Korn Ferry Tour Utah Championship, Utah Open, the Men & Women Utah State Amateur Championships, Junior America's Cup, and the Utah LPGA Title in 1964.
