Ocean Shores Golf Course ☆ Follow

Ocean Shores Country Club is located on the far north coast of New South Wales, just north of Byron Bay, across the river from Brunswick Heads and 30 minutes south of Coolangatta. The golf course is set amongst natural flora, with a backdrop of the Koonyum Ranges. The Country Club enjoys spectacular ocean views down to Cape Byron and its famous lighthouse.

The course is an early 1970s design by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge, configured with six par threes, six par fours and six par fives, where water comes into play at many of the holes. One of the stand-out features of the course is the large greens, protected by extensive bunkering. Laid out between Marshalls Creek and the Brunswick River, the course is configured as two returning nines, with the relatively open front nine weaving around several attractive water hazards, while the more tree-lined back nine is significantly longer and tougher.
