Ocean Castle Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Nakagusuku, Nakagami District, Okinawa, situated on elevated terrain approximately 2 kilometers from the Kitanakagusuku Interchange of the Okinawa Expressway. The course is positioned on a hillside overlooking Nakagusuku Bay, offering views of both the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean, and is located adjacent to the World Heritage site of the Nakagusuku Castle Ruins. The layout is divided into two distinct nines. The front nine, or out course, features ocean views on every hole and is characterized by significant elevation changes that demand technical and precise shots. The back nine, or in course, is slightly wider, allowing for more powerful drives, but remains challenging with strategically placed bunkers and ponds that create varied playing conditions and views throughout the round. The front nine holes listed in the course layout include a mix of par 3, par 4, and par 5 holes, with yardages varying by tee color. The course is designed to test players with its undulating terrain and coastal setting, requiring a blend of accuracy and distance management.
