Oakmont Golf Course ☆ Follow

Oakmont Golf Center is a challenging 1,456 yard, 9-hole par three golf course with holes from 95-200 yards, located in Oakton, Virginia. The course was designed by Thomas E. Clark, ASGCA/Eric Ault and opened in 1998. The course rating is 35.0 with a slope rating of 113. The facility is a public course operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority.

In addition to the golf course, the facility includes a lighted 78 station driving range with target greens and covered, heated tees. Practice facilities include sand bunkers, a putting green and chipping area. The eighth hole is notable as it plays very short but is over water, presenting a distinctive challenge despite its length. Private and group lessons for adults and juniors are available year round, and clinics, special events and an active junior program are offered.
