Oakes Golf Club ☆ Follow

Oakes Golf Club is a 9-hole public golf course located two miles north of Oakes in southeastern North Dakota. The course features 2,998 yards of bent grass from the longest tees with a par of 36, consisting of two par 3s, five par 4s, and two par 5s. Originally built in 1952, the course sits on scenic hilly terrain and presents a moderate challenge for players of all skill levels.

The course is characterized by several distinctive features including two water hazards and Bear Creek, which comes into play on five of the nine holes. These water elements, combined with the rolling landscape, contribute to the course's scenic appeal and strategic design. A bent grass surface on well-maintained greens and fairways supports year-round playability during the spring through fall season.

The facility includes a full-service clubhouse with a bar, pro shop, golf club and cart rentals. The course hosts various public, company, and charity golf tournaments throughout the season, making it an active community golf destination in the region.
