Oak Hill Country Club is a prestigious private country club located in Rochester, New York, featuring two championship-caliber golf courses set across 355 acres. The acclaimed East Course, designed by Donald Ross, was restored in 2019 to its original specifications. Oak Hill's East Course has hosted an exceptional array of major championships, including four PGA Championships, three U.S. Opens, two U.S. Amateurs, the U.S. Senior Open, two Senior PGA Championships, and the 1995 Ryder Cup—making it the only American course to host all six rotating men's major championships.
The course is characterized by oak-lined fairways and challenging terrain. Signature Hole #13 exemplifies the course's design quality. Known for its grueling difficulty, the East Course was designed to "bring out of the player the best golf that is in him," according to Ross's philosophy.
Beyond its golf legacy, Oak Hill offers extensive amenities including a second championship course (West Course), dining facilities, an aquatics center, racquets facility, fitness center, bowling alley, and cottage accommodations. The club maintains a reputation for world-class service and sophistication while preserving its rich championship golf heritage dating back to its origins along the Genesee River.
