Notley Golf Course

The Notleys is an 18-hole parkland golf course located in the River Brain Valley near Witham, Essex. The course features eight holes that cross the river, creating a distinctive water hazard element throughout the layout. Set within a scenic valley landscape, the course offers a traditional parkland design that incorporates the natural terrain and watercourse as integral features.

The course caters to golfers of varying abilities, welcoming both members and visitors. Facilities include a covered, floodlit driving range, chipping and putting greens for practice. The club supports dedicated sections for ladies, seniors, and junior golfers, with organized competitions and events throughout the year. Golf lessons are available from a PGA qualified professional.

Beyond traditional golf, the venue offers additional recreational activities including a nine-hole footgolf course built on a modified pitch-and-putt layout, nine-hole crazy golf course, and outdoor padel tennis courts. A function room is available for hire for various events. The club operates booking systems for rounds up to 14 days in advance for members and 10 days for non-members, with competitive green fees available for individuals and societies.
