Northern Michigan University Golf Course

Northern Michigan University Golf Course is an 18-hole public course located on U.S. 41 in Marquette, Michigan. Designed by Jerry and Bruce Mathews, the course features multiple tee locations to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, from novices to experienced players. The well-maintained layout offers both 9 and 18-hole rounds.

The facility includes a grass tee driving range and practice area for player preparation. Cart and club rentals are available, and credit cards are accepted for payment. The course operates seasonally from May through September and hosts various league play opportunities for men, women, couples, seniors, NMU employees, and area service clubs that compete weekly throughout the season.

Open to the public, the NMU Golf Course generates proceeds that support student scholarships and academic programming at Northern Michigan University. The course provides seasonal employment opportunities for university students and maintains weather delay, rain check, and refund policies for players.
