Northern Country Club Nishikigahara Golf Course is an 18-hole facility located in Urawa-ku, Saitama City, situated in the upper reaches of the Arakawa River. The course is positioned between the Chisui Bridge and the Hanegura Bridge, roughly 10 kilometers from the Yano Interchange on the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Saitama Omiya Line. The layout was significantly reconfigured in October 2023, merging the former Renge-so Course's front nine with the former No-no-hana Course's back nine, which was expanded by two holes to complete the current 18-hole configuration. The course is designed to test strategic shot-making, with water hazards intricately woven throughout the layout to challenge golfers of all skill levels. It features multiple tee boxes to accommodate varying yardages, including Blue, White, Green, and Red tees. The front nine, originating from the former Renge-so Course, includes a demanding Par 5 first hole that stretches to 505 yards from the Blue tees. The back nine, derived from the No-no-hana Course, features a mix of Par 3s, 4s, and 5s, with the third hole serving as a short Par 3 measuring 130 yards from the forward markers. Green complexes utilize both Korean Grass and Bermuda Grass, with the latter typically employed during the warmer months. The facility offers self-service caddie bag drop-off and caters to a wide range of players, including those seeking single-player rounds or open competitions. Its proximity to central Tokyo and accessible location near major expressways make it a popular choice for local golfers.
