North Star Golf Course

North Star Golf Course is a Par 70, 18-hole course designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Originally constructed in 1965 by Adrian Cook, the course expanded from 9 holes to its current 18-hole layout in 1971. Located in Ithaca, Michigan, the course has maintained family ownership and operation throughout its history, with the Smith family owning and operating it since 1988.

The course's welcoming design makes it accessible to golfers across the difficulty spectrum. Its longevity since the mid-1960s reflects its established presence in the local golfing community. The phased development—initial construction followed by expansion six years later—shaped the course's current configuration. As a family-operated facility, North Star Golf Course continues to serve the Ithaca area with consistent golf experiences and community engagement through various programs including leagues, scrambles, and banquet facilities.
