North Palm Beach Country Club is a publicly owned, 18-hole championship golf course located in North Palm Beach, Florida. Originally opened in 1963, the course underwent a major redesign by Jack Nicklaus and reopened with a newly constructed 37,000-square-foot clubhouse. As one of only two municipal courses in the United States designed by Nicklaus, it represents a distinctive offering in public golf.
The par-71 links-style layout features uncommon elevation changes for South Florida, rolling fairways, and well-bunkered, undulated greens. Nicklaus intentionally designed the course as a "thinkers" course that challenges players while remaining enjoyable. The dramatic elevation variations and strategic bunkering create a course that demands thoughtful shot selection and course management.
The redesigned facility includes modern amenities such as dining options at The Clubhouse and The Grill Room, a pro shop, driving range, and instruction programs. The course is open to the general public seven days a week, complemented by additional recreational facilities including a newly renovated 50-meter pool, ten lighted tennis courts, and related programming for all skill levels.
