Narita Hills Country Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by Pete Dye, regarded as one of his masterpiece designs from his mature period. Located approximately one hour from central Tokyo near Narita Airport in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, the course is situated in a peaceful, natural setting away from flight paths, featuring gently rolling terrain harmonized with numerous water hazards and ponds.
The course maintains year-round conditioning using memorial bentgrass greens, supported by state-of-the-art maintenance equipment and facilities. The layout emphasizes strategic play, with notable holes including the par-3 4th hole featuring a pond carry to a two-tiered green, and the par-4 5th, a left dogleg with strategic placement options on the slope.
The course has hosted significant tournament play, including the FORTINET PLAYERS CUP, a men's professional golf tournament held in October-November. The facility offers high-quality amenities including a refined restaurant with antique furnishings serving seasonal cuisine, and implements modern services such as palm vein recognition check-in technology.
