Norbeck Country Club was designed by Alfred H. Tull and opened in 1954 in Rockville, Maryland. The 18-hole course features gently rolling fairways and small greens characteristic of the Washington D.C. area's challenging layouts. Playing to 7,019 yards from the championship tees with six tee options, it accommodates golfers of all skill levels.

The course presents a well-balanced test with four par 5s, ten par 4s, and four par 3s. Notable design elements include doglegs, elevation changes, strategic bunkering, and tree-lined fairways that demand accurate shot placement. Signature holes include the dramatic par 3 third with its creek hazard and significant elevation drop, and the finishing par 4 eighteenth, which features a visually striking left-to-right fairway with strategic bunkering.

Norbeck has established itself as a highly respected test of golf throughout its 65+ year history, having hosted numerous prominent events. The course's small greens and undulated putting surfaces add to its difficulty, while the gently rolling terrain and scenic qualities enhance the overall playing experience.
