Noak Hill Golf Course

Opened in 1992, Noak Hill Golf Course is a parkland layout located 3 miles south of Billericay in Essex. The course features 9 holes played over two different sets of tees to complete 18 holes, with a par of 54. The total yardage is 2,962 yards for men and 2,854 yards for ladies.

Originally quite open when established, the course has matured considerably with developing tree coverage, creating a more challenging playing experience. The terrain is reasonably flat overall. Notable holes include the 8th and 17th at 211 yards each, featuring out-of-bounds on the left, and the 9th and 18th at 153 yards, which plays over water and presents a significant test.

The course is primarily par 3 for men, though holes 2, 8, 11, and 17 play as par 4 for ladies. Despite being privately owned, it operates on a pay-and-play basis with a friendly atmosphere. A key advantage for members and visitors is the absence of winter greens. The course provides standard facilities including a clubhouse, catering, changing rooms, and a pro shop.
