Nippon Diamond Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 course located in Nachikatsuura, a town in the Minamimuro District of Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The course is situated in a hilly region that offers expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, with the club’s facilities designed to take advantage of the 180-degree scenery surrounded by sea and mountains. The layout features a total yardage of 5,420 yards from the back tees, with a par-35 front nine and a par-35 back nine. The longest hole on the course is the 10th, a par-5 stretching 483 yards from the back tees, while the shortest is the 16th, a par-3 measuring just 115 yards. The course is characterized by a mix of short and long holes that require precise shot-making. The front nine includes the 6th hole, a demanding par-5 at 545 yards from the back tees, and the 7th, a short par-3 of 201 yards. The back nine features the 14th, another par-5 at 420 yards, and the 13th, a short par-3 of 165 yards. The handicap distribution suggests that the 6th hole (HCP 1) and the 14th hole (HCP 2) are among the most challenging on the course, while the 3rd (HCP 15), 7th (HCP 17), and 16th (HCP 18) are considered the easiest. The club operates a separate driving range facility known as Diamond Golf Hill, located in Mihama, Mie Prefecture. This two-story facility features 32 bays with automatic tee-up machines and a 200-yard fairway. It includes a simulation golf area with "Swing Nav" technology for swing analysis and a cafe offering light meals. The main golf course in Wakayama also provides a restaurant with Pacific Ocean views, a sauna, and a pro shop. The club hosts regular internal competitions, including monthly "Clean Players" meetings and an annual Club Championship, as well as participating in the Wakayama Prefectural Golf Competition.
