New Ross Golf Club is a mature parkland course established in 1905, situated between the scenic Barrow and Nore valleys in County Wexford, with the Brandon and Blackstairs mountains providing a dramatic backdrop. The 18-hole course plays to Par 70/73 and is designed to challenge golfers of all abilities.
The layout features tree-lined fairways, superbly contoured greens, and several water hazards throughout the course. The course is notably one of the driest in South East Ireland, rarely forced to close due to adverse weather, allowing year-round play. The well-maintained fairways and greens are complemented by excellent grounds keeping.
New Ross provides a challenging yet fair test of golf, with the parkland setting offering both scenic beauty and strategic play. The course welcomes visitors and societies, making it a popular venue for group bookings with full bar and restaurant facilities available at the clubhouse.
