Nemuro Golf Club

Nemuro Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located on the Nemuro Peninsula in Hokkaido, Japan, approximately 7 kilometers from the city center. The course measures 6,376 yards with a par of 72 (36 out, 36 in).

Situated on the Pacific side of the peninsula, Nemuro is characterized as a links-style course with minimal tree coverage and naturally flat terrain. The course features small, firm greens with subtle contours that significantly influence play. Strong winds are common year-round, particularly from the north in autumn and winter, making scoring challenging for many players.

The course operates seasonally from mid-April through December, depending on snow conditions. Summer months offer cooler temperatures around 20°C with favorable playing conditions, though coastal fog can reduce visibility in early summer. Winter play extends into late December in years with minimal snowfall.

Notable features include spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from holes 7 and 9 on clear days. The course employs a self-play, motorized cart system without caddies. A practice facility offering 250-yard range plus chipping, green, and bunker areas is available complimentary to members and course players.
