Naperville Country Club, located in central Naperville just east of downtown, features an 18-hole private championship golf course. The original course was designed by legendary golf course architect Tom Bendelow, whose layout remained mostly intact until the club's most recent major renovation completed in 2007. The course was redesigned in 2006 by world-renowned architect Steve Forrest of Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest & Associates, reflecting Forrest's desire to work with the natural contours of the land and update the course layout for modern golfing.

The par 72 layout features individual and distinctive holes providing challenging yet player-friendly opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, with players able to choose between five sets of tees on each hole. Landing areas are generous yet require strategic thinking as golfers work toward contoured greens, with the 124-acre course winding through rolling terrain, mature trees and ponds home to birds and wildlife. Established in 1921, the club is recognized as an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary committed to preserving the natural beauty of the landscape.
