The Nanshan International Golf Club in Yantai comprises four distinct 18-hole courses, each offering a different strategic challenge and landscape. The International Course and the Cuiyuan Course are both championship layouts measuring 7,184 yards with a par of 71, set within vast orchards that provide wide fairways and a distinct regional character. These two courses share the same front desk contact, suggesting a closely managed facility within the same general vicinity. The Cuigu Course presents a mountain-style challenge with a total length of 7,125 yards and a par of 71. Nestled in the mountains and surrounded by the valley of the Yuhuang Ridge, this layout utilizes the natural topography to create a different playing experience from the orchard-based courses. The Foguang Course, also a mountain-style layout, measures 7,194 yards with a par of 72. Its design preserves the primitive environment of a lake, ancient forest, and natural mountain topography, resulting in a course described as extremely challenging. Beyond the Yantai location, the Nanshan portfolio includes the Qingdao Linghai Golf Club and the Riverside Oaks Golf Resort in Australia. The Qingdao course is an 18-hole layout of 7,323 yards and par 72, featuring an integrated coastal and forest style with staggered bunkers designed to increase difficulty. The Riverside Oaks resort in Australia features two 18-hole courses: the Bungool Course, designed by Bob Harrison and ranked 41st in Australia, and the Gangurru Course, a Top 100 layout with distinct local characteristics and a par of 72. The facility also serves as a significant training hub for Chinese golf. The CGA Nanshan International Training Center acts as the official training base for the Chinese National Golf Team, authorized by the General Administration of Sport of China. The CGA Yantai Nanshan Golf School, established in 2008, is the first professional golf school certified by the China Golf Association, combining sports training with educational development. Notable alumni from this program include national team members Li Haotong, Shi Yuting, and Luo Xuewen.
