Muroc Lake Golf Course

Designed by William F. Bell, ASGCA, Muroc Lake Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course located at Edwards Air Force Base. The front nine opened in 1959, with the back nine added in 1967. Sprawling across 185 acres, the course blends the natural desert landscape of Edwards AFB with well-maintained greens and fairways. The setting features the characteristic high desert terrain with scenic views typical of the region. The course presents a moderate to challenging layout suitable for golfers of varying skill levels. Amenities include a clubhouse with pro shop, locker rooms, and the Sandbagger Grill snack bar. The pro shop stocks equipment and apparel from major brands including Titleist, Callaway, FootJoy, Under Armour, Ping, and Taylor Made. Additional services include club rentals, golf lessons, and cart rentals. The course hosts monthly tournaments and extramural golf leagues, as well as fundraising events.
