Mount Snow Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned New England architect Geoffrey Cornish, situated 2,000 feet above sea level in Vermont's Green Mountains. The course has earned recognition as one of Vermont's top five courses by Golf Digest and was named one of the top 10 resort courses in the country by SKI Magazine.
The layout features distinct characteristics between its two nines: the front nine spreads across scenic open expanses, while the back nine winds through wooded terrain. The course is lined with native vegetation including tamaracks, oaks, birches, and sugar maples, with views of Mount Snow and Haystack peaks providing a majestic backdrop.
Water hazards come into play on 11 holes, and 41 strategically positioned sand bunkers guard nearly every hole, presenting a challenging test of golf. The course meanders through spectacular Vermont countryside, offering a picturesque setting that combines natural beauty with technical difficulty. The combination of elevation, mountain vistas, and hazard placement creates a demanding but visually rewarding golfing experience suitable for resort play.
