The course has been voted Best 9-Hole Golf Course in Victoria for four consecutive years (2021-2024). The course operates with walking only, as power carts are not available due to ground conditions. Play typically accommodates groups of up to four golfers. The facility features an on-site clubhouse with a pro-shop. Mount Douglas operates seasonally and maintains regular daily hours during its operating periods, with tee times available seven days in advance by phone reservation. The course is known for being welcoming to both casual players and organized leagues, including regular ladies' league play on Thursdays.
