Mornington Golf Club Top 100 Review

Mornington Golf Club is located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, occupying a spectacular clifftop position overlooking Port Phillip Bay and Mornington Harbour. The 18-hole course sits on approximately 110-120 acres of land leased and later purchased from the Tallis family, with commanding views extending across the bay to the You Yangs, Melbourne city, and the Dandenongs.

The club's history dates back over a century, celebrating its centenary in 2004. The current course was established in stages beginning in 1950, when the first nine holes opened on April 29th. The second nine holes followed shortly thereafter. The layout takes advantage of the elevated clifftop setting, which provides one of the most distinctive natural features of the course.

As one of the oldest golf clubs on the Mornington Peninsula, the club has developed into a premier facility offering public bookings, membership, and various event hosting capabilities.
