Moray Golf Club, founded in 1889 and located in Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland, comprises two eighteen-hole courses: the Old Course and the New Course. The Old Course was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris, while the New Course was designed by Henry Cotton, making it a distinctive venue where golfers can experience designs from two of golf's most influential figures.
The Old Course is recognized as one of Scotland's finest links courses, featuring a traditional out-and-back layout set in authentic links terrain. The course is particularly noted for its exceptional closing holes, with the final holes named Sea, Short, Road, and Long, incorporating water hazards that come into play. The 18th hole has been voted the second-best finishing hole in Scotland, offering a dramatic and challenging conclusion to the round.
The club has hosted numerous amateur and professional championships throughout its history, cementing its reputation as a significant venue in Scottish golf. The course maintains excellent condition and is situated in a picturesque coastal setting characteristic of classic Scottish links golf. Both courses remain in regular use, accommodating both members and visitors.
