Moonta Golf Club is an 18-hole, 5,401 metre Par 70 course with an Australian Course Rating of 68. The course features sand greens. Located on Milne Terrace in Moonta on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, the club is situated approximately 165 kilometres from Adelaide. The course operates seasonally, with the course usually closed from mid-October until late March each year.

Competition days are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1 April to 30 September, which visitors are welcome to join. Visitors are also welcome to join Social Friday Nights from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm with drinks, nibbles and a spin wheel. The course is open to the public and welcomes casual play at affordable green fees. The sandy greens presentation and layout reflect the course's character as a traditional country golf club within South Australia's golfing landscape.
