Monterra Golf

Monterra Golf is an 18-hole championship course located at Blue Mountain Resort in Blue Mountains, Ontario. The course features rolling bent grass fairways with 86 bunkers strategically positioned throughout the layout. The terrain incorporates natural water hazards including ravines, creeks, and lakes, creating challenging elevation changes with elevated tee shots that take advantage of the mountain setting.

The course is designed as an inclusive layout intended to challenge golfers of varying skill levels while allowing them to exceed their expectations. Notable design elements include the integration of the surrounding mountain landscape, with particular emphasis on scenic vistas and strategic water features that define several holes. The course utilizes GPS tracking technology on all motorized carts to enhance the playing experience.

The rain policy structure—which provides 18-hole vouchers for play through hole 6, nine-hole vouchers through hole 12, and no compensation after hole 13—indicates a course of substantial length and complexity. The presence of designated drop areas on holes 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 14, and 15 suggests these holes present significant penalty area challenges.
