Montealvar ☆ Follow

Montealvar is an 18-hole par 72 course designed by Ramón Espinosa, located approximately 30 minutes from Madrid. The course is situated near Guadalajara in the La Alcarria region, nestled beside an oak-tree forest. The clubhouse is located in a renovated old monastery positioned on a hill with splendid views of the course.

The course extends over 45 hectares and measures 6 km in length. It is characterized by wide fairways and spacious greens, which serve as key factors for achieving strong scoring results. The course features softly undulated terrain and is designed for all-level players. A ravine comes into play on four holes, adding a notable hazard feature.

The course is forgiving and plays relatively quickly, allowing golfers to focus on the game and surrounding landscape. Modern facilities include a restaurant, pro shop, and various rooms for private and professional events. The course regularly hosts both official and private competitions throughout the year.
