Mizushima Golf Links is an 18-hole, par 72 course located in Kawasaki-cho, Kurashiki, Okayama. Situated in the industrial port area of Mizushima, the layout is divided into an Out nine and an In nine, with total yardages of 3,441 yards and 3,432 yards respectively from the regular tees. The course is managed by a company associated with the Chubu Electric Power Group, reflecting its origins in the surrounding industrial zone. The Out nine presents a series of challenging par 4s and 5s that demand precision off the tee. The first hole is a 396-yard par 4 with narrow fairways and out-of-bounds lines on both sides, particularly tight on the left. The second hole stretches to 520 yards as a straight par 5, requiring a long drive to clear a right-side bunker before aiming for the green. The fifth hole is a 375-yard left dogleg where a narrow landing area forces players to avoid the left side to prevent a second shot over water. The ninth hole offers a view of the pin from the tee but features a left bunker that leads to a water hazard if not cleared. The In nine continues the test with significant doglegs and water hazards. The twelfth hole is a 530-yard par 5 with out-of-bounds on both sides, requiring a directional shot to a left-side bunker. The fifteenth hole is a 529-yard par 5 where the approach shot over a water hazard is a critical difficulty; shots that are too short fall into the water, while those that are too long go out of bounds. The eighteenth hole finishes with a 348-yard par 4 featuring a water hazard on the right fairway side and four distinctive bunkers in front of the green arranged in the shape of the letters L-O-V-E. The course is known for its strict out-of-bounds rules and water hazards that penalize errant shots. It hosts various club competitions and events, including the Kurashiki Mayor's Cup Kurashiki City Golf Tournament. The facility also offers ladies' tees and specific play fees for different seasons, with cart usage available from June onwards. The course design emphasizes accuracy and careful club selection, particularly on the longer par 5s and the dogleg holes where the fairways are constrained by hazards.
