Mijas Golf Club has two courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos. Los Lagos is an 18-hole championship course located in Mijas, Málaga, Andalucía. With a length of 6,536 meters and par 72, it is the larger of two courses comprising Mijas Golf Club, designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course features wide fairways with few forest obstacles but is defended by strategically placed sand traps and nine lakes that traverse the layout, giving the course its name. The flat terrain includes large, flat greens with sensitive undulations, and extensive tees allow players to adjust difficulty to their preference. The course was completely renovated in 2012 while maintaining the original design specifications.

Located in the Mijas Golf Valley, approximately 20 minutes from Málaga International Airport and 3.5 kilometers from the coast, the course is situated between Fuengirola and the inland town of Coín. Los Lagos is characterized by its balance of playability and challenge, making it suitable for players of all skill levels from beginners to professionals. The water hazards and sand bunkers create a moderate to challenging difficulty profile, while the generous fairway widths and large greens provide accommodating landing areas. The course's design represents a blend of tradition and innovation, with notable features including a distinctive "Bridge-ball" architectural element that contrasts with the course's gentle contours.

Los Olivos is an 18-hole, par-71 course spanning 5,875 metres from the white tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1984. The course is situated in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola, only twenty minutes from the Málaga international airport and Marbella, and 3.5 kilometres from the sea. Designed as a contrast to its sister course Los Lagos, Los Olivos features an abundance of trees—hence its name—smaller size, fewer water hazards, smaller and undulating greens, strategic narrow tree-lined fairways, and elevated greens. The course is best suited for players with higher technical ability and precision, remaining one of the most famous commercial courses of the Costa del Sol. The par-three 4th hole is the most spectacular hole with magnificent panoramic views from the raised tees and a small green tucked away below, protected by three bunkers, demanding cool nerve and accurate tee shots. The Los Olivos course underwent extensive regeneration in recent years to bring the course up to USGA requirements.
