Middlefield Golf Course

Middlefield Golf Course is an 18-hole regulation course located in Cottage Grove, Oregon, nestled along the Row River. Designed by Gene Mason and built in 1991, the municipally owned public course has evolved from its original executive layout to a full-length regulation course. The layout meanders along the Row River and is surrounded by mature landscaping that showcases the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Since the City of Cottage Grove acquired the course in 2006, it has undergone steady improvements including cart path resurfacing and regular facility upgrades. Following damage from a 2024 ice storm that affected over 50% of the trees, the course implemented aggressive restoration, resulting in a more open and playable layout. The course is accessible from I-5 at Exit 174 and maintains an approachable atmosphere with affordable rates for golfers of all levels. Amenities include a Pro Shop, snack bar, league play opportunities, and tournament hosting capabilities. The course is known for its scenic setting and commitment to community access.
