Located in Obihiro, Hokkaido, the Memanbetsu Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout set on a hillside overlooking Lake Abashiri. The course spans 6,801 yards from the back tees and is designed to utilize the natural undulations of the terrain, creating a strategic challenge for golfers. The fairways and rough are maintained with Bent grass, which helps the ball sit up and makes the course accessible even for beginners. The front nine features a mix of lengths and difficulties, highlighted by the 512-yard par-5 third hole, designated as a drive-contest hole, and the 168-yard par-3 seventh, which is noted as a near-pin hole. The back nine presents its own distinct tests, including the 574-yard par-5 eighth and the 515-yard par-5 fifteenth. The fourteenth hole, a 180-yard par-3 from the back tees, is identified as a signature hole and a near-pin challenge, offering a strategic test on the closing stretch. Golfers can utilize fairway-riding golf carts, and the course operates on an all-self-service basis with a two-thru policy. A practice facility is available, featuring 20 bays and a 250-yard driving range where players can use floating balls. The course is closed during the winter season.
