Mayflower Golf Club

Established in 1970, Mayflower Golf Club is a scenic 9-hole, par 36 public course located 3 miles south of Fairfax, Minnesota, approximately 18 miles northwest of New Ulm and just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Set on 160 acres, the course winds through mature tree lines and wooded areas featuring the Fort Ridgely creek, creating a naturally challenging layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. The terrain offers varied difficulty with wooded sections and water hazards that test players without being prohibitively difficult for beginners.

The course is well-maintained and known for excellent green conditions. Notable amenities include a driving range, practice green, and golf cart rentals along with unique Golf Board options. The clubhouse provides dining and bar services, plus an event room with attached kitchen available for private functions. Under new ownership since 2020, the club has undergone consistent improvements while maintaining its reputation for quality course conditions at competitive prices. The course operates as a public facility open seven days a week.
