Maldon Golf Club is located 130 km northwest of Melbourne in the Goldfields region of Victoria, positioned on the outskirts of the township of Maldon and surrounded by the hilly countryside of Mt Tarrangower. The club is over 110 years old, originally called the Tarrangower Golf Club and formed in 1908. The course measures 4411 metres and is rated as Par 65. The course is well treed, undulating and with magnificent views of the countryside and Mt Tarrangower.

The sand scrapes are recognised as amongst the best in country areas and acknowledged when Maldon hosted the very successful 2008 and 2018 Victorian Sandgreens Championship. Over recent years a strong focus on course development has resulted in fairways with good grass coverage, well maintained scrapes, challenging rough and turfed area behind the signature 11th hole. This has produced a course providing a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.
