Makomanai Country Club

Makomanai Country Club is located in Makomanai, approximately 19 kilometers from central Sapporo, adjacent to Shikotsu-Toyako National Park. The course features 36 holes surrounded by pristine primeval forest characteristic of Hokkaido's natural landscape.

The course comprises two distinct layouts: the Karanuma Course, known for its expansive fairways that appeal to long hitters, and the Maruyama Course, featuring strategic design requiring precise tactical play. Both courses showcase the grand natural terrain and vistas typical of northern Japan.

The course is situated in a scenic setting with commanding views of the surrounding wilderness. The clubhouse includes a restaurant with large windows offering panoramic views of the natural surroundings. The course regularly hosts professional tournaments, including JLPGA tour events. Makomanai Country Club operates on a seasonal basis, with winter closure during the colder months, and offers shuttle bus service for member convenience.
