Located on the southwestern shore of Maui, the course at Makena Golf & Beach Club is an 18-hole championship layout situated on 1,800 acres of land stretching from the ocean to the leeward slopes of Haleakalā. The property is characterized by native wiliwili trees, dryland forest remnants, and historic lava flows that define the terrain. The course is designed to accommodate players of all abilities, offering a relaxed pace where guests are encouraged to play barefoot. The setting provides expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, with four islands visible on the horizon. The layout integrates the natural landscape, allowing golfers to play amidst lush landscaping while navigating the gentle trade winds.
