Majlis Course

The Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai stands as a testament to golfing excellence and historical significance. Established in 1988, it was the first grass course in the Middle East. The course features a challenging championship layout with strategic design elements including lush fairways, bunkers, and water hazards throughout.

The course presents significant difficulty, with notable challenging holes including the 5th (stroke index 1, rated hardest), the 6th, and the par-3 4th hole guarded by water. The terrain is varied, featuring elevated greens, uphill approaches, and strategically sloped putting surfaces that demand precision and course management. Signature holes include the par-5 3rd requiring lay-up strategy, the par-3 7th over water, and the finishing 9th hole with water hazards.

The Majlis Course has hosted the prestigious Hero Dubai Desert Classic, a prominent European Tour event, establishing its reputation among the world's finest golf courses.
