Magyar Golf Club - Kisoroszi

Magyar Golf Club Kisoroszi is Hungary's longest-established 18-hole, par 72 golf course, located on the northern tip of Szentendre Island, approximately 30 minutes from Budapest. Spanning 66 hectares, the course features naturally formed dunes and undulating fairways that evoke famous English links courses, enhanced by lush vegetation and parkland surroundings.

The course layout comprises two distinct nine-hole sections. The front nine is characterized by tree-lined, wooded corridors, while the back nine features multiple doglegs. The par 3 6th hole is particularly popular among players. The par 72 design demands exceptional precision, with challenging holes distributed throughout to test golfers of varying abilities.

The course's natural setting near the Danube Bend provides scenic beauty combined with the historic "Old Course" character shaped by natural topography. The combination of technical hole design, strategic bunkering, and distinctive terrain creates an authentic golf experience that has attracted nature and sports enthusiasts since the early 1980s. The facility also offers footgolf and serves as an event venue.
