Madera Municipal Golf Course

Madera Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout designed by Robert Dean Putnam and opened in June 1991. Located just west of Highway 99 on Avenue 17 in Madera, California, the course sits on the edge of town surrounded by grape vineyards and almond and pomegranate orchards, offering a quiet and serene atmosphere despite its proximity to the highway.

The course is owned by the City of Madera and operated by Sierra Golf Management. It is recognized as one of the finest municipal golf facilities in central California, with particular distinction for maintaining some of the best greens in the San Joaquin Valley. The layout provides a challenging yet enjoyable championship-level experience suitable for golfers of varying abilities.
