Mack Mayfield Municipal Golf Course

Mack Mayfield Municipal Golf Course is a nine-hole municipal golf course located in Westland, Michigan, at 500 S. Merriman Road. Built in 1978 on the site of the former Birch Hills Country Club, the course measures 2,833 yards with a par of 34. It is widely recognized as one of the region's premier nine-hole courses and has challenged golfers of all skill levels for nearly five decades. The course features a scenic layout designed to accommodate players of varying abilities. In addition to the golf course, the facility includes Mack's Pro Shop and Grill, which provides golf supplies and food service with five large-screen televisions for leisure. The course hosts organized golf leagues throughout the season and operates from April through October, with spring and fall hours dependent on weather conditions. Tee times are available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and can be reserved in advance through the pro shop or online.
