Machrihanish Links is a historic Old Tom Morris links golf course located near the southern tip of the Kintyre peninsula in Scotland, overlooking Machrihanish Bay. The Championship Course is set in natural sand dunes with commanding views of the bay. The course features an acclaimed opening hole, which Jack Nicklaus described as "the best opening hole of golf in the world." The layout comprises 18 holes designed across the natural dune landscape, showcasing the character typical of classic Scottish links golf. The course maintains its unspoilt character, with the natural terrain and coastal setting creating challenging playing conditions.
