Lockport Golf and Recreation Club is a private 9-hole golf course located in Lockport, Illinois, on High Road between Archer Avenue and 135th Street. Situated on the bluffs overlooking the I&M Canal Corridor, the course serves over 750 golfers of all ages and abilities.

The course originated in the 1940s-1950s when Texaco Refinery employees developed a small golf course on former company property. The facility was formally organized around 1960 and purchased by members in 1983 when the refinery ceased operations. The course has undergone continuous improvements over more than 60 years, including the 1969 installation of an automatic watering system for greens and tees, watered fairways added in 1989, and a Bio-ject system for turf maintenance.

Notable enhancements include additional tee boxes, a new hole configuration combining two consecutive par-3s into one more challenging hole, a blacktop walkway from registration to the first tee, cart storage facilities, a picnic patio near the first tee, and granite hole markers at each tee box. The course is continually maintained and improved under long-time Course Superintendent Scott Pieper, hired in 1978.
