Likomba Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course established in 1966, located at the foot of Mount Cameroon (4,100m elevation) in Tiko, Cameroon. Situated approximately 45 minutes from Douala and 30 minutes from Limbe's black sand beaches, it is one of only two 18-hole courses in Cameroon.
The course encompasses 55 hectares of manicured greenery set within palm groves owned by the Cameroon Development Corporation. The dramatic setting beneath Mount Cameroon provides distinctive scenic views and challenging terrain. The layout takes advantage of the tropical landscape and elevation changes characteristic of the region.
The course operates seasonally from October through July, with maintenance breaks during the heavy rainy season from August to September. This operational schedule reflects the tropical climate's impact on course conditions.
Likomba hosts major tournaments including the Insiders Cup and maintains reciprocal membership agreements with Yaoundé Golf Club, allowing current members access to both courses. The facility serves amateur golfers, professionals, and corporate event participants, offering a combination of competitive play and scenic natural setting that distinguishes it within the region.
