Leonay Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 67 course located at the foot of the Blue Mountains. The course features tight tree-lined fairways and challenging greens that demand accuracy and test golfers of all skill levels. Positioned adjacent to the Nepean River, the course benefits from a reliable water supply that keeps the fairways in lush condition year-round.

The course layout presents a challenge for even experienced golfers and has been described as challenging by skilled players in the district who compete regularly in various competitions. The ninth hole is noted as a feature hole, and the course is characterized by abundant bird life within its tree-lined setting. The clubhouse is located at the Emu Plains Sports and Recreation Club.
