Lane Tree Golf Club

Lane Tree Golf Club is an 18-hole course designed by architect John LaFoy, located on the Little River in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The course features yardages ranging from 5,200 to nearly 7,000 yards, accommodating golfers of all skill levels from beginners to professionals.

The layout combines 1/2 Scottish and 1/2 Southern Traditional hole designs, with several holes resembling mountainous terrain. The naturally hilly terrain provides dynamic topographical variety, with the highest vantage points offering views of the entire course. Notable features include five holes bordered by the Little River and 15 ponds or lakes throughout the course, along with over 5 miles of paved cart paths.

The facility includes a grass practice range and a large practice putting green adjacent to the Pro Shop. The course is situated within pristine wetlands that support wildlife including blue herons, geese, ducks, and various other species, enhancing the natural environment of the community. The course also functions as a clubhouse facility with restaurant and event venue amenities.
