Lakewood on the Green is an 18-hole golf course located in Cadillac, Michigan. The course measures nearly 6,100 yards from the blue tees with a par of 70, consisting of four par-3s, twelve par-4s, and two par-5s. Built over seven years by father-and-son team Norm and Pete Smith, the course originally opened in 1980 and was recognized in 1985 as "Michigan's prettiest nine hole golf course" by the National Golf Foundation.

The course features gently rolling and winding fairways with strategic bunker placement. A defining characteristic is the scenic shoreline from an adjacent 15-acre lake that enhances the playing experience. The landscape and setting provide both challenge and aesthetic appeal for golfers of varying skill levels.

Beyond golf, the property offers additional recreational amenities including nature trails, boating, biking, sailing, fishing, and swimming during summer months. The course operates under current management that restored its original name in 2013 after previous ownership changes. Lakewood on the Green also functions as a venue for weddings, special events, and outings, with dining facilities and golf instruction available.
